Purchasing expensive Blog Tour bundles.

Getting a book reviewed is getting harder and harder. Not only do you have to find and build relationships with reviewers and media outlets, but you also have to compete with the thousands of new books being released each month by major publishers – who already have those relationships with reviewers and book review publications.

Fortunately readers and even traditional publishers are looking more and more to the prolific book bloggers to learn what books people are really reading. See Publishers Finally Listening to Book Bloggers’ Reviews for more details.

Finding and landing interviews and book reviews is one of the most difficult and time consuming aspects of promotion, and one that agents and publishers increasingly shirk. But it’s vital to get yourself out there before the public. You must build an audience in order to sell to them.

Our prices at Promotion a la Carte keep your starving-artist-budget in mind while offering you a value we’ve not found anywhere else. At most companies, for a minimum of $275.00 (most are much  higher) you get one (maybe two) reviews posted on a handful of review sites such as Amazon, and one interview posted on their own site (all by the same reviewer). We know of promoters who charge charge $1,000 — over $2,000 for not much more. Not so here at Promotion á la Carte. We land up to dozens of interviews and reviews for our authors.

We have a working relationship with over 300 interviewers and reviewers. This means they know and trust us from working together for our authors. The have come to expect the best talent from us, and desire to receive a continual flow of submissions. We’re happy to oblige.

And most of our promoters each publish your review to at least three major sites such as Amazon. We have one reviewer who publishes your review to 14 separate sites. What a value, and that’s just for one of the numerous reviews we land for you!

Of course we can’t guarantee your book will be accepted by all interviewers and reviewers; that is totally up to them, but we’ll do the leg work for you, and your excellent work will speak to the media for itself.

Important: We do not accept
self published books that have NOT
been professionally edited.
Make sure to hire an editor before uploading your book
for sale for print and eBook version.

* BONUS:

Keep in mind that reviewers won’t guarantee that just because they accept your book (print or electronic) they will review it, so you must be willing to send out review copies in vain. It’s part of the writer’s burden. But most of our reviewers do review if they request it.

If your promotion need to coincide with a book launch or blog tour, be sure to schedule a minimum of three to six months in advance, as many interviewers/reviewers are booked up to 6 months in advance, and sometimes more. Even if some of your spots can’t be scheduled until after your launch, it’s still good to accept anyway. All press is good press!

* BONUS & TIP:
In addition to our free copy of DIY Publicity,
DIY Interviews & DIY Reviews you can land for yourself we recommend purchasing an excellent book by Dana Lynn Smith, How to Get Your Book Reviewed. Armed with these tools you can go on to add many reviews and interviews to what we land for you, and all on your own.

“My business is landing reviews for authors and I’ve learned a lot already. I’m only half way through Dana’s book, How to Get Your Book Reviewed and I’ve lost count how many bookmarks and notes I’ve made. This book delves far beneath just getting those reviews, also covering the many different kinds that exist, and exactly how each type benefits the author in a different way. If you’re launching a book campaign (or knee-deep in ongoing promotions) you need this book.”
