What Our Clients & Others Say About Their Experience at

Promotion a la Carte

“Over the years I have had occasion to collaborate with Aggie Villanueva and I have found her to be a wonderful author, photographer and a tireless publicist who will go the extra mile for her clients. In addition, her professionalism is beyond reproach.”
Norm Goldman, Editor, Publisher, owner BookPleasures Reviews and
top Amazon Reviewer

“I’ve loved, loved, loved Promotion a la Carte! I love the frugal aspect of picking just the right services one needs. I love the extra mile that Aggie Villaneuva is willing to go. I love the new networking partners she has found for me. Go Promotion a la Carte! I am even trying to sell my husband on your services, for when his Everything Asians Need to Know About Americans A to Z comes out in the U.S.
Carolyn Howard-Johnson, multi award-winning novelist, poet and author of the HowToDoItFrugally series of books for writers.

“The moment I signed up for Promotion á la Carte I was presented with dozens of review opportunities, blog talk radio and blog interviews. Promotion á la Carte is a reasonable alternative to high-priced PR firms.”
Gina Holmes, Novel Journey Founder and author of the best selling Crossing Oceans.

I can’t tell you what this means to me. The money invested with you is the best money I’ve spent in a very long time. You have been excellent at linking me to reviewers and to interviews via blog, internet and voice. (And you) have great insight into the industry. A valuble contact. More importantly we have an ongoing dialogue.
author Robert Hastings

“I’ve learned as a new writer, advertising and publicity often walk hand-in-hand when selling books. There are many books to learn marketing from like The Frugal Book Promoter by Carlyn Howard-Johnson. She says ‘Our credentials may already be impressive, but if this your first book or if this book doesn’t use expertise you gained in a present or past vocation, you’ll need to build new “writerly” qualifications…you build a little at a time, one block at a time and soon, Voila! You have a castle’

“To help build my own castle, I found Aggie Villanueva at Promotion a la Carte, a great resource for introducing our souls to the world along with our books. Check out my filled up Calendar thanks to Aggie and her associate Nancy Arvizu. Thank you Aggie and Nancy for sending out my Media Release; for hooking me up great reviewers who love their work; and for getting me heard as well as read.”
Joyce White, author of Sculpting the Heart’s Poetry and Sculpting the Heart: Surviving Depression with Art Therapy.

For me, the day I met Aggie and Nanci, was a blessed day. They are genuine professionals, committed to their work and to the authors they represent. One can feel their commitment and positive energy through the vibrations of my computer. We have had some amazing responses in the campaign of my latest book EXIT. From day one. And this due to Promotion a la Carte, thanks to Aggie and Nanci. I love you, girls, and admire you so much! Let the favorable wind of our collaboration caress our sail!

Aggie Villanueva tops the Kindle Author list for the second month in a row (in 2010) at David Wisehart’s blog Kindle Author. I think this list—and the lists for the previous months—speaks to the success of each author in promoting themselves and their books through online social media, particularly through twitter, facebook, author websites, and personal blogs. If you’d like to get your Kindle ebook noticed online, do what these folks are doing.”

Aggie Villanueva’s white paper “How Choosing Kindle Categories Wisely Got Me Two Best Sellers This Year” coupled with its “How to Gain Bestseller Status in Amazon’s Print Bookstore Too” is incredibly important information for all authors. Aggie generously shares her own process step-by-step, giving authors all the information they need to replicate what she has done.

I am amazed at what Aggie reveals about this important concept of Amazon categories even though Amazon does NOT make it easy for authors to know about this or utilize these concept. Through much personal hard work Aggie has truly uncovered gold nuggets of knowledge. Following her white paper’s advice, I checked my own books on Amazon and found their listings severely lacking in category designations. I am now going to follow Aggie’s step-by-step advice for these books.

Take my advice and get this white paper right now! You’ll be glad you did. P.S. I’m betting all of Aggie’s white papers are this informative because that’s the kind of person she is.

“Choosing to work with Promotion a la Carte felt like a positive logical step for a debut author like myself with a “careful” budget, big ideas, high hopes, and vague promotional experience (aka, shakily non-existent!). While I was confident that working with Promotion a la Carte would be a positive and productive experience, what I hadn’t anticipated was how quickly you would dive-in and meet my expectations — actually sweep past them at a gallop. I love working with you! You do an amazing job of making things happen and then keeping it all together. From the very beginning I’ve had the distinct feeling that you’re not merely doing a job and filling in the blanks, but clearly, right there along for the ride.”

The Secret of Lies

“Thanking great promotional experts who helped me. Couldn’t have done it without these amazing people who offer inexpensive ways to get your work noticed and improve your blog. Aggie Villaneuva: I still can’t pronounce her last name. She features “Promotion a la Carte,” an inexpensive alternative to more costly and less effective ads and marketing campaigns. New authors, check this out to find out that promotion need not break your bank account and still be effective. Also, Aggie’s great in every way; she’s pointed me in the direction of great blogs with entertainment and education.”
